Hakan Horozoğlu who founded Horozoğlu Yönetim Danışmanlığı Ltd. Şti. in 2000, started his career in 1987 in the Finance and Accounting department of Caterpillar Turkey.
Joined Toche Ross to become an auditor in 1988 and took part in the audits of several national and international clients in different roles until he was promoted to manager. Joined the Istanbul practice of Price Waterhouse (merged subsequently with Coopers & Lybrand to become PricewaterhouseCoopers) in 1994 as an audit manager where main concentration was the audit of Petrol Ofisi, a major oil & gas company, which was under privatization.
Transferred to the Almaty office as the lead Audit Manager in 1995 and took over a practice of 35 people, which grew into 95 in 2.5 years. In addition to many Oil and Energy-based audit projects, managed privatization and restructuring projects such as Kazakh Exim Bank, Turkmenvnesheconombank, Kazakhtelecom and Kyrgyz Energo. Also took part in a number of non-audit projects such as training and technical consultancy to the Ministry of Finance on the implementation of new accounting standards in the Republic of Kazakhstan. Transferred to the London office in 1998 to work on ValueReporting™ within the Shareholder Value Services group and returned to PwC Istanbul office in 1999.
In 2000, founded Horozoğlu Yönetim Danışmanlığı Ltd. Şti. to provide corporate finance and management consultancy services to multinational companies as well as many Turkish enterprises. In addition to personally managing many M&A projects in which he represented either the investor or the seller during his 22 years of service, he also provided interim management, project management and restructuring services, some of which are mentioned below:
Attended the preparatory courses for the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exams organized by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) in 1993, for 6 months in California, USA.

Ela started her career at Touch Ross as junior auditor in 1990 and has taken part in the audit of many national and international companies in various positions, from junior auditor to team manager. In 1995, she became the head of the Finance and Accounting department at Price Waterhouse Almaty / Kazakhstan office. In 1998, she was transferred to the London office of Price Waterhouse (merged subsequently with Coopers & Lybrand to become PricewaterhouseCoopers) as Financial Controller to the East European Services Group, which is comprised of 15 countries, including Turkey.
After returning to Turkey, Ela joined Praktiker Yapı Marketleri A.Ş., a German Metro Group subsidiary, as Finance Manager in 1999.
In 2002, she joined Lowe advertising agency, an affiliate of the USA-based Interpublic Group of Companies, as Finance Director and Member of the Board of Directors. Her duties and responsibilities included financial reporting within the framework of US GAAP, implementation of Sarbanes Oxley Act provisions, coordination of cash flow and treasury activities, and follow-up of legal activities including share transfer and general assembly.
Ela joined monster.com in 2011 as Finance Director, responsible for the Southern European region. Monster Global has decided to end its activities in several countries, including Turkey, as of December 2012. Between 2012 and 2014, Ela provided Liquidation Consultancy services to Monster and managed the liquidation process from beginning to end.
She worked as CFO and Vice President at Manajans JWT advertising agency between 2014 – 2020. Manajans was renamed Wunderman Thompson as a result of an intra-group merger within the framework of the global restructuring initiated by the US parent company WPP.
Ela has been working as Managing Partner at Horozoğlu Management Consulting Ltd Şti since August 2020.
